I'm a personable, adaptable and imaginative individual with a decade of experience in communications, writing and publishing gained in my career as a successful B2B magazine editor.
I'm highly computer literate, able to work comfortably on Macs and PCs alike, and at ease with WordPress and other Content Management Systems, Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, and social media platforms. I'm also a proficient and engaging public speaker, having conducted multiple radio and TV interviews, given talks at schools and universities, and spent many hours engaging with the public during my previous career as a riding instructor and horse trainer.
About me
I live in Buckinghamshire with my husband and three rescue dogs. I've got a keen interest in sustainability and environmental issues, animal welfare, and food innovation.
My hobbies include reading and writing, vegan cookery, weightlifting and running, crochet, and spending time exploring the Buckinghamshire countryside. Once or twice a year, I also take part in archaeological digs across the country as a volunteer with the National Trust and Ethos Heritage CIC.

How I work
I'm happy in teams both small and large, and am respected for my ability to use my initiative when it comes to managing and prioritising my workload. Deadlines are not an issue either; after all, I've spent nearly 10 years organising each month around them.
My ethos
I take pride in what I do, and I'm never happy putting my name against something substandard or lacklustre. The content I produce is the content I know I'd be happy reading, and I hold my own work to the same standards as I would anyone else's.
Although I consider myself a talented writer, I believe there's always room for improvement. I've enjoyed seeing how my writing style has evolved over time and remain happy to explore opportunities to enhance my work by trying new things.
